The music launch of Singh Is Kinng was not the star-studded, lavish gala that one would have expected. Instead, the entire event was quite a hush-hush affair, in a cramped Mumbai night club. Though the Kinng of the moment Akshay Kumar was missing, two other superstars made up for his absence. We are talking about Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan. But the two cleverly avoided each other as Salman timed his entry well after Bachchan’s exit.
Among the early birds were the film’s producer couple Vipul and Shefali Shah. Soon to follow was none other than Amitabh Bachchan who towered above the rest in a crisp white kurta and trendy red glasses. The actor was in quite a jolly mood – Maybe his recent Rs 1,500 crore deal has got something to do with it. Now, since Bachchan and Vipul Shah share a good rapport it was assumed that Big B would release the music. But to everyone’s surprise Bachchan made a quick exit, much before the official launch.
