It was way back in 1996, when two of the most sought after actors, macho man Sunny Deol and ab–perfect Salman ‘Prem’ Khan joined in for Raj Kanwar’s JEET. The outcome was historic. Be it the emotional quotient, the action sequences or its music, JEET scored on all fronts. The film not only went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year but also catapulted Raj Kanwar into the top league of directors, a position he held on to for quite a while.
As they say, history repeats itself (especially in Bollywood) and once again the two beloved stars of the masses, Sunny Deol and Salman Khan will be seen together in Samir Karnik HEROES. While Hrishita Bhatt plays Sunny Deol’s love interest, it’s the Shimla beauty Preity Zinta with Salman Khan. And with additional stars like Mithun Chakraborty, Bobby Deol, Sohail Khan, Dino Morea and Amrita Arora thrown in, it seems like a win–win situation for HEROES.
Well, if that happens it will be another triumph (‘jeet’) for the Sullu–Sunny team on 24th October!
