Salman Khan is not as hot as he used to be and if reports are to be believed he is over his career peak. T-Series producer Bhushan Kumar has refused to agree to Sallu’s asking price of Rs 50 crore for a movie, and is bargaining for a third of the actual charge.

Even the younger actresses that work with him have not been able to resurrect the old hunk-magic of the most eligible bachelor. Time and again friends and critics have given him hints to go ahead and change his marital status, for the most-eligible tag is to expire very soon, too.

This most recent development has brought in full focus the question whether Salman will be able to prove his worth after delivering four consecutive bombed flicks (Saawariya’, ‘God Tussi Great Ho’, ‘Hello’ and ‘Heroes’).

Previously, Salman, along with brothers Arbaaz and Sohail, was also to be a part of a remake of ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, but producer Ramesh Taurani put the project on hold. The movie was to be directed by David Dhavan. Again, Taurani would not agree to Salman’s 50 crore fee.

Till now no statements have been issued from Salman’s part about agreeing to one-third of his asking price, but the situation is clearly spelling doom for Sallu Bhai
