It’s not been a very rewarding year for Bollywood hottie Salman Khan. After flops like, GTGH, ‘Hello’, Sallu is trying hard to hit the blockbuster charts with his upcoming flick, ‘Yuvvraaj’ and ‘Veer’. But, looks like hopes are slowly dimming down as the shooting of his film ‘Veer’ has been put on hold indefinitely.
Grapevine has it that due to the credit crunch in Bollywood, Sallu’s ‘Veer’, apparently a mega budget film, has been stalled. Looks like Sallu’s hard work on his body to get the perfect six-pack abs and the three-cut biceps is all but wasted!
Well-placed sources from the industry say, “ ‘Veer’, a period drama set in the 18th century has been put on hold as big buyers and corporate houses like Reliance and Ashtavinayak have taken a back seat in financing films. On account of the sets, the look of the cast members and high production value in terms of special effects, ‘Veer’ has already run up a very high bill. It was being shot in full swing until recently, and is 20 per cent complete now.â€
However, director Anil Sharma has snubbed rumours, saying that the movie is almost complete and they’d continue with the shoot very soon.
Well, we certainly wish to see Salman finally giving us a movie that’s not over-the-top!
