Two of the most anticipated movies of the year, the Renzil D’Silva directed Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi starrer, ‘Jihaad’ (tentative title) and Anil Sharma’s magnum opus, ‘Veer’, starring Salman Khan are near completion. And if buzz doing the rounds turn out to be correct the audience are in for a double treat this year.
Yes, there are talks in the trade and distribution circle that the two film makers have arrived upon a similar release date for their forthcoming projects and as of this point of time, the two films are scheduled to release together on the same day.
Well, if the buzz turns out to be true then indeed it would be a clash worth witnessing for all those knowing the sworn enmity between the two stars, Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. Vivek on his part had publicly apologised for his behaviour, however the hot blooded Khan is yet to accept his apology . May be, as a token of appreciation for Vivek’s apology, Salman may ask Anil Sharma to change the release date and do Vivek a favour, or vice-versa.
However, till we get an official confirmation of the above, all we can do is wait and watch and see how things unfold, in the latter half of the year for Bollywood, which should be more fruitful and eventful than the first half.
