Remember Kabir Khan, well not the director but Shahrukh Khan’s character from the Yash Raj Films blockbuster Chak De India. Have you ever wondered how would have Kabir Khan looked had he been a bit more muscular, perhaps like Salman Khan. Very few know that Salman Khan was the initial choice for the movie which finally became one of the biggest hits of Shahrukh’s career.

Salman was about to start shooting for Chak De when he had a fallout with producer Aditya Chopra regarding the script. Salman had wanted the last match in the tournament to be a dream India Pakistan clash but Adi didn’ agree as he had to sell the movie even in Pakistan. Salman decided to quit and Aditya found a equavalent replacement in Shahrukh and the rest they say is history.

Yash Raj Films and Aditya Chopra didn’t loose touch with the Bollywood hunk and have cast him in their untitled movie along with Madhavan. This will be Salman’s first movie with the Yash Raj banner a jewel that was missing from his crown for long. The movie will be directed by Victor Acharya and the female lead is yet to be finalised. With Adi calling the shots Rani Mukherjee cannot be ruled out!
