Popular Bollywood actor Salman Khan has said for movie stars loneliness is a luxury, precious to them. ‘'’Art is created in loneliness and exhibited in public. Such time gives an artist ample scope for introspection and brutal self-analysis,'’ the actor said on his Blog yesterday.

‘’This is what helps an actor grow as an artist and as a human being. We, movie stars, are usually surrounded by people and have a very heavy schedule,'’ he said and added that his father, noted script-writer Salim Khan, had once remarked that loneliness nurtures talent and creativity. Salman Khan is resting at home thanks to a tummy upset that lead him to fall sick. Last week he reported on the Yuvraj sets not feeling well but eventually abandoned this shoot after vomiting, reveal unit sources.

Sources further added, “Salman was not feeling well on his arrival on sets so he was resting for a while before starting his shooting. But then as he started vomiting continuously, he decided it was pack up time for him for the day. He left the sets immediately to go home and take rest. Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan has been off work since August 20, after he vomited on the sets of Subhash Ghai’s Yuvraj, presumably because of exhaustion. Shooting for the film has been put off till next month.

Sources close to the actor revealed to us, “Salman arrived on set of Yuvraj feeling a bit unwell. Before he could begin his filming, he started vomiting. Instead of canceling the shoot immediately, as suggested by unit members, he insisted on resting a bit and then resuming.

“They went wrong in the publicity of the film; I did not promote it,” Salman Khan replied when asked why his God Tussi Great Ho, released last week, had such a low-key weekend box-office response.

The bad boy of Bollywood, apparently annoyed with the film’s producers, was equally direct about his co-stars.

This comes in wake of the infamous altercation between them at Katrina Kaif’ birthday party. Apparently Salman Khan made rude comments about Shah Rukh’s ailing T.V. reality show to which Shah Rukh Khan made snide remarks about Salman’s love life including a comment on Aishwarya Rai, Salman’s ex-girl friend.
